The entire process of installing Taciturn coatings on your vehicle takes 1-2 days. Once you hand over the vehicle to our installers, it is first cleaned, washed, and scrubbed till it is completely free of dirt and grime. Next begins the process of paint correction, this involves removing/reducing any and all surface blemishes on your vehicle’s paint and clear coat including swirl marks, light, and deep scratches, faded/uneven paint, etc. This process takes up at least 2-4 hours, after which the vehicle is cleaned one final time using Taciturn Pre-Coat and a microfibre towel. This is done to remove any and all extra residue remaining from the polishes/sealants used previously. Then begins the actual application and curing of Taciturn Nanocoatings. The entire process is done manually by hand by our trained applicator. Each coating layer applied on the car takes 1 hour to “dry” and only after the previous layer has been completely dried can the next layer be applied. The number of layers that need to be applied depends on the package chosen. After the last layer of coating is applied, the vehicle is securely placed for “curing” for the next 24 hours after which the vehicle may be handed over to the owner. At this stage the vehicle is ready for daily usage by the owner, however, the final results of the coatings are shown by the installer after 7 days of initial application. The vehicle is called back to the installer for demonstrating the various effects of the coating.

Nano-Coatings are essentially thinner than human hair! Taciturn Coatings provides some rock chip resistance, but it is still susceptible to rock chips from high speeds or larger rocks. Your windshield glass will get some rock chips, but not nearly as many as your clearcoat.
